Coleshill 1 Willenhall 1
Willenhall travelled to Colsehill knowing that they were in for a tough match if
they
were to take points away with them.
Willenhall were without Clews, so L Jones was brought back into the centre of
defence
with Hopkins starting in midfield.
The game started at a frantic pace with Cosehill putting Willenhall on the back
foot in the first 10 minutes. The Willenhall back four stood firm and organized
themselves and the game began to settle down.

minute
Riley shot wide.

with a
string of comfortable saves, but both defences had to work hard.

Coleshill under pressure.

into the
path of White only for her to see her shot blocked by a brave Coleshill
defender. Two minutes later the hardworking Riley had 25yard drive saved.
In the 63rd minute Riley got her just reward after spending most of the game
contending with 3 markers. Byrne won the ball in midfield and managed to get it
wide to Kinsis who played a long ball to Riley, although the defender
intercepted the pass, Riley quickly robbed her of the ball, rounded 2 more
defenders and calmly slotted the ball into the corner of the goal.
This was Willenhall’s best spell of the game, although Coleshill were still
dangerous.

minutes later Coleshill broke from midfield and played the ball to the edge of
Willenhall’s box where a low shot into the corner beat Nicholas.

game
with Cosehills defence throwing themselves in front of shots from Byrne and
White in the box.
