WBA showed their class in the second half to show why they are top of their league, but Willenhall after a very encouraging last 20 mintues of the first half didn't deserve to be on the end of such a cruel scoreline.

The Baggies took the lead on 2 minutes, firing home a free kick and they increased their lead in the 13th minute with a low shot.

On 25 mintues they extended thier lead even further with another low shot.

Willenhall then came back into the game and finally got their reward on 33 minutes when Abi Riley fired home a low shot and with just two seconds remaining on the referees watch Abi then scoreds the goal of the game, taking on 2 defenders before curling in a shot from 20 yards.

After a stern Half-time talking to the home side stepped up a gear in the second half and we just could not get hold of the ball as it was one way traffic as the Baggies kicked down the slope.

On 56 minutes the Baggies thought they had scored but Lizzie Plant pulled off a tremendous Gandon Banks'  style save to keep the reds in the game, but from the corner Albion made it 4~2 & a minute later it was 5~2 when Lizzie Plant was cruelly beaten to the ball by a Baggies striker.

Albion made it 6-2 on 60 minutes after being awarded a very dubious penalty and 4 minutes later another low shot made it 7~2.

Four more goals followed in the last 20 minutes to complete a WBA victory which leaves our girls to concentrate on bringing the league title home.
