Willenhall started well and a Rachel Kinsis long pass was gathered by the home
keeper under severe pressure from Abi Riley and Lesley White.
In the 6th minute Willenhall took the lead when the enterprising Tracey
Culloty found Abi Riley with delicate pass and Abi dummied the keeper before
walking the ball into an empty net.
On 11 minutes the lively Tracey Culloty had a well struck shot saved by the
keeper, as she still searches for her first goal in a Willenhall shirt.
Jo Byrne made it 2~0 on 22 minutes when she tapped home on the goalline after
Sherrylee Boon's spectacular 50 yard effort was clawed into Jo's path by the
keeper.
Sherrylee Boon then had a 40 yard effort saved by the keeper on 29 minutes &
then Leila Hopkins had a 25 yard shot saved.
The influencial Lesley white had a well taken goal disallowed on 31 minutes
although she did look on side and Wolves only real threat on 33 minutes was
cooly dealt with by Sherrrylee Boon.
Leila Hopkins hit a shot over the bar from the edge of the box on 42 minutes
and then Sherrylee Boon saw another spectacular 35 yard effort go just wide on
44 minutes.
Willenhall continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and Abi Riley
netted the third on 54 minutes, slotting home from Lesley White's superb pass.
Wolves had a chance of a consolation goal on 60 minutes when Farley miskicked
in the Willenhall goal, but they shot wide.
Lesley White's stunning finish made it 4~0 on 62 minutes smacking home Jo
Bynres pass after Tracey Culloty had won possession.
Abi Riley and Lesley White combined well & Lesley fired the end product just
wide on 66 minutes.
The very unfortunate Tracey Culloty was unfairly booked for unsporting
Behaviour as the Referee had decided that she had made comments to an
opponent.
Abi Riley completed her hat-trick on 79 minutes, slotting the ball home and
then Willenhall's very own version of Thierry Henry made it 6~0 on 81 minutes
with her fourth goal of the game, lofting the bal over the advancing keeper
for her 26th goal of the season.
